La Ligne ferroviaire Yverdon-les-Bains – Sainte-Croix accueille depuis l’automne 2015 une nouvelle rame de marque Stadler. Elle fait partie de la commande réalisée le 24 août 2012 par les quatre entreprises ferroviaires MBC, TRAVYS , MOB et TPF qui s’unissaient pour lancer un appel d’offres en vue de l’acquisition de matériel roulant ferroviaire.
Ce matériel roulant permet l’introduction de la cadence à la demi-heure sur la ligne Yverdon-les-Bains – Sainte Croix, moyennant l’adaptation de la station de croisement de Vuiteboeuf, projet dont les études viennent également d’être lancées.
Les deux autres rames de la série seront livrées au cours du premier semestre 2016. Ci-dessous quelques images réalisées le 26 décembre 2015 à Yverdon de la rame Be 4/4 3001 + AB 3031 + Be 4/4 3002.
