Le chemin de fer Lausanne – Echallens – Bercher (LEB) devient progressivement un véritable RER. De nombreux travaux auront lieu ces prochaines années, notamment pour augmenter les points de croisement, et mise en souterrain du tronçon urbain sur rue, comme ici, à l’avenue d’Echallens entre Montétan et Union-Prilly.
